Marketplace Rules
SiteSwap is intended for legitimate construction tools, materials, machinery and equipment. Some items are not permitted on the marketplace.
Items that are stolen, suspected to be stolen, unlawfully obtained or offered without the owner's permission must not be listed.
Firearms, ammunition, explosives and other weapons are not permitted on SiteSwap.
Any item that is illegal to possess, sell or distribute under applicable Australian law must not be listed.
Dangerous chemicals, explosives, asbestos-containing materials and other hazardous substances may not be listed where their sale or transfer is unsafe or unlawful.
Fake, counterfeit or unauthorised copies of branded tools, equipment or other products are not permitted.
Products subject to a safety recall or items known to present a serious safety risk must not be listed.
Sellers must not deliberately hide serious defects, falsify ownership, alter identifying information or misrepresent the condition of an item.
Items requiring licences, permits or other legal authorisation must not be listed unless the transaction complies with all applicable requirements.
Sellers are responsible for making sure they have the legal right to sell an item and that the listing complies with applicable laws and SiteSwap rules.
